Plowshares Theatre Company, an organization dedicated to preserving and producing Black theatre, presents this play about a woman and her daughters navigating their freedom amidst the Louisiana Purchase in the 1830s.

Community Celebration: Debut of Jordan Weber’s “New Forest, Ancient Thrones”

Jordan Weber, a regenerative land sculptor and activist based in Iowa, will unveil his new sculpture on the eastside after working with Sidewalk Detroit as their artist-in-residence over the past year. To keep the party going, check out Mother Cyborg’s exhibition opening at Spot Lite Detroit afterwards.
