These giant, hand-plucked and painted pieces made of Japanese paper will leave you in awe of Neha’s artistic process and make you question your own knack for detail-oriented work.

The singer-songwriter-producer-DJ is on tour for her smashing new album With a Hammer, which digs deep into rage and anger with a dash of pop, jazz, synth, and techno.BONUS: Memorial Day Weekend
Movement After Parties
Some parties are free, some are $50
While the festival itself stays expensive, the real celebration of techno and the start of summer is alive and well on dance floors throughout the city. Two things: read Imani Mixon’s legendary 2018 Metro Times article Detroit is Techno City and techno is Black and then explore all of the upcoming parties on Resident Advisor. Of note, Northern Lights Lounge will be open (?!) for a free patio party and the lineup for Club Toilet at Menjo’s includes trash drag performance artist CHRISTEENE.
