The Sidewalk Festival is back in action and showing up in the Joy-Southfield neighborhood. If you haven’t been to a Sidewalk Festival yet, what the hell! Wake up and get out there! This year’s got lots of dance (jit and dabke, for example), installations, puppetry, cyanotype workshops, and more.

Outdoor screenings of some incredible puppet-focused films ranging from underwater puppets, Taiwanese glove puppets, and dream-world puppets, co-presented by Detroit Puppet Company and Cinema Lamont. Friday performances are outside at DPC, and there are two Saturday matinees at the DFT.
